Bihar 2010 Election Result: Nitish Kumar led NDA targets 2/3rd majority

National Democratic Alliance - a national coalition of parties including the BJP and JD(U) - is leading the poll results in Bihar.

The alliance is all set to form government in the state for the second term, that too with a thumping majority.

According to the ECI reported figures, at 2:50pm, JD(U) is leading in 113 seats while its alliance partner the BJP is leading in 86, taking their combined total to 199. The coalition is all set get a 2/3rd majority in the 243 seater Bihar Assembly.

In a major upset, Rabri Devi, former Chief Minister and the wife of RJD supremo, who contested from 2 seats is trailing from both. Rabri Devi had sought the people's votes from Raghopur and Sonepur assembly constituencies.

At Sonepur Rabri Devi is behind to Vinay Kumar Singh of BJP by more than 19000 votes, whereas Satish Singh of Janta Dal (United) is ahead of Rabri Devi in Raghopur by more than 12000 votes.
