At 10:38, BJP is leading in 91 out of the 201 seats for which trends are available, putting it short of the halfway mark by about 10 seats.

The state is headed towards a fractured mandate with no party in sight of a clear majority. Janta Dal (Secular) is once again in a position where its coalition support would become important in the process of forming a government in the state.

Given its track record, it will be interesting to see which party accepts it as a coalition partner.
